Functional / skills-based
Groups content by skill area instead of by job history. It can help some career switchers present transferable strengths, but many recruiters and ATS workflows still expect a clear employment history, so use it carefully.
Combination / hybrid
Opens with key skills and achievements, then follows with chronological experience. Useful for career switchers and experienced specialists who want relevant strengths visible before job titles.
One-page resume
